First day, our tour will start from Chiang Mai then depart to northern most of Thailand along Mae Rim road. Visit orchid and buttery farm then continue to Chiang Dao Cave, about 70km from Chiang Mai and visit the cave. Stop to have lunch at the local restaurant then visit the local market ( Hmong market ). Visit Chinese village and tea plantation at Mae Salong mountain where you can test local tea and see how they collect and produce tea. Continue drive to Chiang Rai and overnight in Chiang Rai
Next day, our tour guide will meet you at hotel after breakfast. Depart to hill tribes village, there are different tribes including long neck, ahka, yao, lisu and big ear tribe. The drive to the ancient town of Chiang Rai which is call “ Chiang Sean “, visit one of the oldest temple ( Wat Chedi Luang ) in Chiang Sean. After that, drive further north to visit the golden triangle, the border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Learn the history of the golden triangle and opium trade by our tour guide and lunch will be provided at the local restaurant at the golden triangle. Boat trip along Mea Khong is possible, please discuss to our tour guide to arrange ( own expense ). Visit the opium house before drive back to hotel in Chiang Rai and stay one more night in Chiang Rai.
In day 3, we will pick up and check out from hotel in Chiang Rai. Visit the most famous temples in Chiang Rai. Start from Wat Phra Keaw where the emerald Buddha was enshrined before move to other town and Bangkok. Then visit Blue temple, new tourist attraction and one of the most stunning temple in Chiang Rai. Visit white temple ( Wat Rong Khun ), another land mark of Chiang Rai. Wat Rong Khun, a dazzling temple built in the 1990s. Its ornate all-white exterior,with embedded pieces of mirror, gives it a resplendent appearance, which makes it one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. Lunch at the local restaurant then continue to Phayao Province then visit Wat Sri Kom Kam with its fine craved and glided wood façade then visit Kwan, a lake of Phayao. Drive to Lampang and overnight in Lampang for 1 night.
The fourth day, pick up and check out from hotel after breakfast. Visit visit Phrathat Lampang Luang Temple; the northern finest temple and best presentation of Lanna style architecture. Visit Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao, where the famous Emerald Buddha was enshrined for 32 years (from A.D. 1436 to 1468). Lunch serve at the local restaurant in Lampang Town. Continue to Lamphun; its history dates back to 700 A.D. Visit Phrathat Haripunchai Temple; the tallest chedi is 46 meters high and is topped by a nine-tier umbrella made from 6.5 kg of gold. Also visit nearby Chamadevi Temple; dating back at least to the 10th century and the main chedi has five levels which on each level has twelve Buddhas in blessing attitudes. Then transfer back to Chiang Mai and overnight in Chiang Mai.

The last day, our guide will meet and pick up from hotel in the morning. Depart to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep Temple, one of northern Thailand’s most important and beautiful temples, located near the top of Doi Suthep (Mount Suthep). It is a place of worship, dates back to the year 1373 when the first Chedi was built. It is an important pilgrimage spot for the devout and is sacred site to many Thai people. Visitors can take the 306 steps staircase or ride on a cable car to reach the pagoda. Enjoy the magnificence of the temple with its Golden Chedi glowing and spectacular views of Chiang Mai City and its surroundings. A must visit!. Transfer you to airport or back to hotel in Chiang Mai
